Respect for the Military

Over the past few years I have gained much respect for our Military. Prior to working in real estate, I had never had much contact with people in the Military service. I regret to say my conception of Marines, etc. was young, wild and driving a car with a loud amp system. Boy, was I off base! I am fortunate enough to live and work near Camp LeJeune Marine Base, N C. Thus, many of my clients are Marine and Navy and I have learned that they are some of the most dedicated, loyal, hardworking and moral people I have ever known. I see them seperated from their families, moved from base to base and in the worst case lose a family member. These people handle their destination with dignity and quiet acceptance. They are amazing. No matter what your views on the war or your political association, I hope you will remember that these people in the Military are putting their lives on the line for us and they volunteered to do it! When you see a person serving in our Military, thank them.
