Jacksonville NC - Free Outdoor Concerts

The Onslow County Parks and Recreation Department is partnering with Onslow County Public Library to sponsor a Back to School Music Series. Concerts will be held outdoors at the Onslow County Public Library, 58 Doris Avenue in Jacksonville on Thursday evenings from 7 to 8:30 pm. All concerts are free and open to the public.

• August 2 - Four Nights - Beach Music
  
  
• August 9 - The Carolina Band - Oldies
  
  
• August 16 - Spotlight Entertainers - Variety
  
  
• August 23 - Craven Brass Quintet - Baroque to Blues
  
  
• August 30 - Grassy Creek - Bluegrass

Make plans to pack up the family, a picnic supper, lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy the outdoor concerts. In case of rain, the concerts will move inside the library.

The music series is funded by the North Carolina Arts Council.
