It's A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (Hubert, NC Onslow County)
Wow! Does the weather get in better than this? I don't think so, it is perfection! I walked around the neighborhood this morning and it seemed everyone was out--working in their yards, tinkering on their boats (we're in a waterfront subdivision, you know Kingsbridge on Queens Creek), planting flowers, washing their car, playing with the children or just enjoying the beautiful morning. We are so fortunate to live in such a beautiful area in Onslow County, N C. All the necessities are located conveniently nearby but we are not in the hub bub of daily traffic jams and such. Our school district is considered one of the best and most desired in Onslow County and the schools certainly are easily accessible from our neighborhood here on Queens Creek. A 10 minute drive to Swansboro takes us to some excellent restaurants, great shops and an area rich in history. Boating and fishing are big here and no wonder, we have water, water everyone and it is easily accessible with many public accesses as well as the private ones such as the one for the Kingsbridge II property owners in our neighborhood. A day on the beach is another option with a short drive (20 minutes?) to Hammocks Beach or perhaps you want to drive a little further into Carteret County (30 minutes) to Emerald Isle, Pine Knoll Shores and a little further down the Island to Fort Macon State Park. Another fun day for Hubert, N C home owners is a visit to the NC Aquarium in Pine Knoll Shores. There is so much to see and do there, you might want to save that for a rainy day.
